Overview:
This position offers a unique opportunity to support both the CEO and the CEO's Executive Coordinator in various administrative tasks and research projects. The main role is responsible for researching college scholarship opportunities in the United States and providing comprehensive support throughout the application process. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and effective communication abilities to ensure that applicants meet deadlines and fulfill all requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administrative Support: Manage and maintain the CEO's calendar, scheduling appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements. Assist with preparing reports, presentations, and correspondence for the CEO and Executive Assistant. Handle incoming calls, emails, and inquiries, directing them to the appropriate parties and ensuring timely responses. Assist with other administrative tasks and special projects as assigned.
- Research Assistance: Conduct research on various topics as requested by the CEO and Executive Assistant. Compile and analyze data, preparing summaries and reports to support decision-making. Assist in gathering information for presentations, speeches, and other communication materials. Organize and maintain research databases, files, and documentation.
- Researching Scholarship Opportunities: Conduct thorough research to identify available college scholarships in the United States. Stay updated on new scholarship opportunities and changes to existing ones.
- Application Management: Assist applicants in understanding the requirements and eligibility criteria for various scholarships. Keep track of scholarship application deadlines and submission requirements. Guide applicants through the application process, including filling out forms, gathering necessary documents, and submitting materials.
- Preparation for Scholarship Exams and Essays: Provide support to applicants in preparing for scholarship exams, writing essays, and meeting other requirements. Offer resources and strategies to help applicants excel in scholarship-related assessments.
- Requirement Completion: Ensure that all application requirements, such as transcripts, recommendation letters, and personal statements, are completed accurately and submitted on time. Assist applicants in obtaining and organizing required documentation.
- Communication and Follow-up: Maintain regular communication with applicants to provide updates, answer questions, and address concerns. Conduct ongoing conversations to ensure that the application process is progressing smoothly and all necessary steps are being followed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Education, Counseling, etc.) preferred.
- Previous experience in an administrative or research role is a must.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Strong research skills with the ability to identify scholarship opportunities.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Discretion and ability to handle confidential information with professionalism.
